Childhood Trauma

Childhood trauma can take many forms – physical, sexual or emotional violence – and can have devastating consequences on an individual. No family is perfect, but when we grow up in an environment with parents that were involved with alcoholism or substance abuse, physically or sexually abusive, or even overly critical or punitive; we may carry a sense of unworthiness or shame into our adulthood. Without proper support, we may still be excessively about being accepted by our parents, or concerned with getting approval, and fearful of criticism or rejection from those around us. With working through my own life experiences of childhood trauma, I am here to walk alongside with you to deal with your fears from the past, reorient your life and help you regain a healthy sense of control.
